thanks to Bumblebee for the images

This weekend a bunch of LA galleries put together the Beyond Eden event in Hollywood; here are some of my favorites.

Bumblebee had his first solo show (which completely sold out) in the Carmichael Gallery space, which included a bunch of stencils, an installation, and sculpture pieces that I think worked particularly well, and relate really nicely to his street installations.

Shark Toof went all-out on an incredible room for LeBasse Projects, which included huge shark panels, shanty huts and a massive collage wall with a lot of great details.

See more by Bumblebee and more by Shark Toof.

Shark Toof's show at Barracuda opens tonight (May 1), at 6pm. I took a look around; it's a really strong show that focuses on wood pieces (cubes & shanty buildings) - get down to it if you can.

See Shark Toof's work on the street.

Shark Toof continues the style he used for the recent White Mike parody. The 'Shark Toof Ate Your Baby' piece is alongside Euthanasia's Michael Jackson.
