Portrait of Basquiat being welcomed by the Metropolitan Police - an (unofficial) collaboration with the new Basquiat show.

There's a new Basquiat show at the Barbican in London; a celebration of a person and work that the police today would probably arrest.

Based on Boy and a dog in a Johnnypump.

Educación para la Ciudadania / #Primavera Valenciana

Reacting to the police violence against student protests in Valencia.

Update - Escrito en la pared sent me the following:
Just in case you want to know more about it, it is not only against police violence. Educación para la ciudadanía is a subject teenagers study in high school, but soon will not, because the Spanish (newly elected conservative) government has recently decided to erase it off schools' curriculum because they say it deals with controversial stuff students shouldn't deal with at school, such as, ¿ready?, homosexuality, human rights, personal relationships... That's probably one of the reasons why Escif's work is even better.

From id-iom:
'With the seemingly endless stream of development around London town and the proliferation of advertising messages on just about every conceivable surface which are forced into our brain (without our permission) on a daily basis it’s sometimes nice to strike back with a simple message to bring a bit of levity to an otherwise tedious day.'

Zoo Project is in Tunisia, creating work celebrating the Tunisian Revolution and the people that made it happen - particularly the 200+ people that died. They ended the 23-year reign of despot Ben Ali (and his RCD party), and sparked revolutions across the region.

This is the first time there's been any web presence for Paris-based Zoo Project - check out the website.

From Klone:
"about a month ago I painted this billboard; its a special location as its located in a place where an expensive housing project going to be built, too expensive for the average Tel-Aviv resident, thus just pushing the young people more and more out of the city center
At some point there were plans to make a park which is so needed in this area, but in the end the money wins and the house project going to rise in few years.
I wrote "DONT SLEEP !" to arouse people's attention a little bit to whats happening around them, then, a month later we had a couple days of heavy storm, during which half of the billboard was torn down, only leaving the "SLEEP !" part. Kind of sarcastic in the end, and probably my best collaboration so far."
