This is Dan Baldwin's print, 'Halfway between the gates of hell and the garden of Eden', which was released at his recent Carmichael Gallery show. Prints are still available through Carmichael for $650, but last night an AP of the print sold at auction in Bristol for £2,300 in the Get Dring Mobile auction at Dreweatts - pretty amazing for a newly-issued print.

Dan's prints are so collectable because each one is heavily hand-worked; in the past they've included real bullet holes, hand made crucifixes, dollar bills and fabric flags.

Dan's next print, to be released soon, is below. 'Evolved' is available exclusively through the printmaker, Harwood King. It takes the idea of an editioned print to another level - it's giclee on hand-torn Fabiano paper, with separated varnishes, a frame around the butterfly area, acetate & wood additions, gold and silver leaf, two real razor blades and hand paint finishing. It's an edition of 50.
